Refund and Cancellation Policy
The Chicago Mosaic School refund policy is as follows:
Refunds will be granted in the following time frame before the initial start date of the course for which you have enrolled.
Full refunds (100%) will only be granted 28 days or more before the start date of the course.
Partial refunds will be granted as follows:
75% Refund – between 27 and 21 days before the start date of the course.
50% Refund – between 20 and 14 days before the start date of the course.
25% Refund – between 13 and 7 days before the start date of the course.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made 6 days of less before the start date of the course.
Any fees that The Chicago Mosaic School must incur due to a refund, i.e., Paypal, will be deducted from the individual refund amount.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to the policy stated above. This includes all unforeseen circumstances.
If The Chicago Mosaic School cancels the course for which you have enrolled, you will receive a full refund regardless of the time frame stated above.
Classes are cancelled when enrollment minimums are not reached. The Chicago Mosaic School and instructors determine this minimum enrollment number.
Cancellations may be made up to THREE (3) days prior to the first day of the class. Students will be notified of the cancellation by email or by telephone.
Full tuition will be refunded via PayPal within two business days of cancellation notification. Students may opt to receive credit towards any future course that The Chicago Mosaic School may offer.
Gift Certificates are non-refundable. All Gift Certificates have an expiration date of one year from date of purchase.
If you signed up for a class or workshop and need to change sessions, you will be charged at rescheduling fee of 20% of the total class/workshop price, as well as paying for any additional classes during the sequence.
Groupon Workshops have a rescheduling fee of $20/person for a reservation rebooking.
If The Chicago Mosaic School cancels the Groupon Workshop for which you have enrolled, you will receive a one time rescheduling fee waived regardless of the time frame stated above.

The Chicago Mosaic School does not grant make up classes for missed classes. In the event of an emergency, or unusual circumstances the administrative staff will review requests for make ups on a case by case basis. All decisions are final and can not be re-submitted for review.
Open studio is held every Thursday, 11am-3pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm unless posted otherwise. The one-time drop-in fee is $20.
Students may purchase a 4 Session pass from the CMS office at a discounted rate of $60.
Studio Clean Up
All students are expected to clean up their own workspace at the end of class and return all materials back to supply bins after the end of each project.
Instructors are expected to take the garbage out at the end of each class.
Please do not put glue or grout in the sink, it clogs the pipes.
After a grace period of 30 days from student’s last day of class, The Chicago Mosaic School is not responsible for work left behind.
The Chicago Mosaic School reserves the right to change, alter and/or amend the Refund Policy at any time.
