Working directly from a live model is a great way to learn and practice drawing. In this 8-week class, both absolute beginners and practicing artists have the opportunity to learn to draw the human figure. Students have a chance to work from life and learn about perspective, scale, quality of line, form, value, composition, and expression, while seasoned artists can hone in on specific challenges, or refresh their skill set. Students will do quick and gestural poses and progress to longer poses with a nude model.

CMS provides easels, support boards for drawing pads and the model; students should bring their own drawing supplies (soft vine charcoal, Char-Kole sticks, 18″ x 24″ newsprint, and two 3″ bulldog clips).

No Prerequisite.
