Under the Mosaic: Bases, Substrates and Foundations (was Undulation Workshop)

What’s under your mosaic?  Learning to choose, frame and build the substrate (foundation) of your mosaics are key tools in a mosaicist’s skill set.  During this popular 2-day hands on workshop, participants learn how to select the proper substrate, create a frame, and then transform the surface plane for freeform and/or dimensional wall mosaics.   A variety of techniques and effects are explored, and participants will leave with examples, skills and the confidence to take their work to another dimension.  No previous experience is required, but a desire to learn to use tools and have fun is recommended.  All materials used during class time will be provided and class size is limited to 6 students.

All materials are included. No prerequisite.
