Watercolor Pathways to Mosaic

Watercolor can be an inspiration for your art practice, as an end in itself or as a bridge to another medium, like mosaic. In this 6-week class, students learn basic skills in handling the medium and color theory. Different techniques are introduced through painting exercises. The course concludes with students creating color studies and creating the flow of tesserae for their mosaic work. Most exercises will be done in class with optional weekly assignments. If you seek to capture an impression or idea quickly and with ease, watercolor is an excellent way to explore inspiration for your art practice.

No mosaics will be made in this class.

All materials included. No Prerequisites.
