CMS Welcomes You to…THE WORKSHOP! A Community Art Series

CMS is not only excited about our new home in Edgewater, but to present THE WORKSHOP!

CMS prides itself on creating a community space where people can feel safe creating and making art. And with such a lively community here in Edgewater, we wanted to showcase the amazing talents that are hiding out here in the Northside!

The Workshop is EXACTLY what it sounds like: A Workshop space for community members across Chicago to present new work- whether it’s a short story, poetry, avant-garde performance piece, or performing for the first time outside of your living room!

Hosted every month, THE WORKSHOP will feature a headlining reader of any genre, and performance artist. But don’t worry, there’s room for you too with and open mic session!

A chance to share something old, or something brand new, The Workshop is an arts series that is simply meant to be a space to find the art that fits you.

THE WORKSHOP SESSIONS:

November 13th, 2018, 7-9pm

December 11, 2018, 7-9pm

January 8th, 2019, 7-9pm
